With the help of Kajaria Ceramics Limited, PHD Family Welfare Foundation has been serving the
underprivileged rural women by strengthening their skills on Knitting and Hand Weaving
through the project of empowering the marginalized communities through skill development
training in Lakhimpur district of Assam, India since January 2019. Local women and girls
taking the benefits of this skill enhancement training specially on weaving and knitting as major
part of their income and livelihood support with availability of raw materials there.
