PHD FAMILY WELFARE FOUNDATION:

The PHD Family Welfare Foundation (PHDFWF) a registered non-profit organisation has been promoted by the PHDCCI thirty-nine years ago, registered as a Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, 80G of the IT Act, 1961 and the FCRA. The Foundation has primarily concentrated on implementing integrated health & family welfare projects in the field of high-risk groups for STD/HIV/AIDS in resettlement colonies, skill development & free income generation training for needy women and youth, mobile medical care, care for people living with disabilities, educational courses, personality development classes and self-defense training for girls PAN India. At present, PHDFWF is currently operating 12 Mobile Medical Vans running in Delhi, NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat and benefitting 1,100 beneficiaries every day and till date we have benefitted approx. 19,99,071 beneficiaries from healthcare projects. PHDFWF has 34 skill development centers in PAN India states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and with a focused presence in tribal regions such as Odisha, Assam and Chhattisgarh and at any given time 6,000 student beneficiaries per day are availing skill training in centers across PAN India. Till date we have benefitted 59,119 beneficiaries through our skill development projects.

Chairperson – PHD Family Welfare Foundation philanthropic outreach and public welfare programs which include medical care, health awareness, water conservation schemes, skill development and income generation in low income areas. During COVID19 continuously distributing dried food packets, masks and soaps to people in resettlement area and migrants, running free mobile medical van in resettlement areas for needy patients.

Chairperson – PHDFWF Women and Child Committee work on protection of child rights, safety and security of women in Delhi. CSR towards women empowerment, issues & challenges facing women at the grass root level, role of women entrepreneurs in Make in India, gender sensitization, women in family run businesses, encourage startups by women.

Governing Body Member, Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra and Shriram Centre for Performing Arts raising funds and creating awareness of classical music and dance for nation's premier dance /drama league. Led two international cultural delegations sponsored by ICCR to South America, USA, Canada and Tokyo and Korea.

President and founding member, St Stephen's Hospital Patients Welfare Society Instrumental in raising funds and treatment for over 30000 patients suffering from pediatric polio, funding of scholarships for nursing training and free medical clinics in cardiac disease, TB, eye treatments and blood donation. Corrective treatment of children with club foot. Series of concerts held as a vehicle to raise funds for patients welfare, during COVID19 collected donations to refurbish 120 bed Corona treatment unit complete with 7,000 PPEs, 1,00,000 surgical gloves, 10,000 N95 masks, 10,000 litres of sanitizer.

Past President FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) during the Silver Jubilee year (2008-2009) of the national network of professional business women. Accomplished several milestones during tenor including nationwide tree plantation, multi-national trade delegations, fostering of mentoring of up and coming business professionals, lectures and training programmes on leadership, business management and adoption of villages for skill development.
