About the Organization

PHD Family Welfare Foundation (PHDFWF), a registered non-profit charitable trust, was set up in 1986 by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, with certifications under 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and FCRA.

The organization’s core mission is to uplift the poor and underprivileged by focusing on key areas: health care, skill development, education, support for especially-abled individuals, sanitation for girls in schools, rehabilitation & relief during natural calamities, and women’s self-defence.

Key Initiatives

Healthcare

PHDFWF provides health services through 11 mobile medical vans and targeted intervention projects, benefiting over 17 lakh people across Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi NCR.

Skill Development

Operating 26 skill centers in Odisha, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi NCR, the foundation trains individuals in:

  • Beauty Culture
  • Computer Education
  • Mobile Repairing
  • Electrician Training
  • Retail Management
  • Culinary Arts
  • Tutorial Support
  • Women & Youth Empowerment Programs

Over 53,000 people have become self-reliant through these programs.

COVID-19 Response

During the pandemic, PHDFWF supported migrant laborers, destitute children, and underprivileged families by distributing rations, dry food packets, masks, and organizing health checkups and awareness camps.

Geographical Reach

PHDFWF operates in Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Assam, Odisha, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Punjab, and other regions during emergencies.

Vision

To develop deprived communities through education, health, and skill-based social welfare services with a strong focus on women and youth empowerment, ensuring sustainable and dignified development.
