PHDFWF ORGANISED ‘LEGAL AWARENESS TALK ON WOMEN’S SAFETY, INHERITANCE, AND
RELATED RIGHTS’

PHD Family Welfare Foundation successfully organised a ‘Legal Awareness Talk on Women’s Safety, Inheritance, and Related Rights’ on June 12, 2025, at the PHD House, New Delhi. The programme started with a welcome song and dance performed by beneficiaries from the PHDFWF Skill Development Centres setting a warm tone for the programme. Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF, warmly welcomed the distinguished dignitaries, guests, and participants. The keynote speakers Dr. Kiran Bedi, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, renowned social reformer and retired IPS officer and Ms. Priya Hingorani, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India shared their profound knowledge and experiences. Both the renowned speakers in the question answer session offered step-by-step legal guidance on different issues concerning their rights in their home, offices as well as outside. They encouraged girls & women to become more aware, assertive, and empowered to handle injustice & challenges in their daily lives and how to tackle those. Ms. Karuna Shriram expressed gratitude to the esteemed speakers, participants and beneficiaries in her vote of Thanks. The session proved to be both engaging and empowering, leaving a lasting impact on all participants. An interactive session was held with the active involvement of 300 participants

PHDFWF ORGANISED INAUGURATION OF NEW MOBILE MEDICAL VAN AND HEALTH CARE PROJECT AT THE PHD HOUSE, NEW DELHI

PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised Inauguration of new Mobile Medical Van and Health Care Project on 06 May 2025 at the PHD House, New Delhi. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Patrick Rata, High Commissioner, New Zealand High Commission, Shri Shamsher Kanwar, CSR Head, Jaquar Foundation, Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF, Dr. Ranjeet Mehta, CEO & Secretary General, PHDCCI and Mr. Raul Mukand, New Zealand High Commission. The programme witnessed the ceremonial flag-off of both the projects. Ms. Anuradha Goel warmly welcomed all the distinguished guests and dignitaries, and shared the vision and ongoing welfare initiatives of the Foundation aimed at improving community health and wellbeing. Dr. Ranjeet Mehta extended sincere gratitude to both Jaquar Foundation and New Zealand High Commission for their generous support emphasising the significance of such partnerships in advancing public health initiatives. Shri Shamsher Kanwar and His Excellency Patrick Rata both appreciated PHDFWF’s impactful work in reaching underserved communities, especially through its mobile healthcare and skill development initiatives. The programme commenced with a vibrant welcome song and dance performance presented by the beneficiaries of PHDFWF’s Skill Development Centres. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Neetu Jiwarajka, Governing Body Member, PHDFWF who expressed appreciation to all dignitaries, guests, and partners for their valuable presence and continued support.

CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME AT PHDFWF-HTWL LAL KUA CENTER

PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised a Certificate Distribution programme at Lal Kua, Pul Prehladpur Skill Center on April 24, 2025. Certificates were distributed to 58 student beneficiaries who have completed their courses in Beauty Culture and Tailoring in gracious presence of Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF, Ms. Madhulika Mehta, Ms. Mani Bhatia and Ms. Sharda Goyal, GB members of PHDFWF. The centre is being supported by Shri Sanjay Bhatia, Managing Director, Hindustan Tin Works Ltd. & former President, PHDCCI. Ms. Anuradha Goel in her welcome address highlighted the foundation’s ongoing welfare efforts, empowering role of skill development and encouraged student beneficiaries to stay committed to learning and make themselves to become self-dependent so that they can support their families. Ms. Goel also expressed gratitude to Hindustan Tin Works Ltd. for their vital support in building confidence and independence among beneficiaries through this skill centre. Ms Mani Bhatia encouraged students to make themselves self-reliant and announced to start remedial classes on maths & science in near future for promoting education. Student beneficiaries showcased dance and song to welcome members and the funding agency.

PHDFWF DONATED FOR MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS TO MAYAWATI CHARITABLE HOSPITAL, CHAMBAWAT, UK

PHDFWF ORGANISED ITS GOVERNING BODY MEETING AT THE PHD HOUSE

The Governing Body Meeting of the PHD Family Welfare Foundation was organized at the PHD House. Foundation’s previous activities, details of projects and action plan etc. were reviewed and discussed in the meeting. Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF, GB members of PHDFWF and Dr. Ranjeet Mehta CEO & Secretary General, PHDCCI were present in the meeting. All the members were pleased and also appreciated the work done by the Foundation for the needy ones.

CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME AT PHDFWF-SMPF SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, DWRKAPAURI

PHDFWF organized a certificate distribution programme on April 3, 2025 in SMPF -PHDFWF skill development centre in Dwarkapuri. 75 beneficiaries received certificates those who have successfully completed their respective courses on beauty culture and tailoring, computer education and mobile repairing in the last batches. Beneficiaries became self-sufficient by utilizing their training skills in a productive way and getting good income source.

PHDFWF ORGANISED SELF DEFENCE TRAINING IN SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTERS, DELHI

PHDFWF organized 10 days of self defence training for women and girls in the skill development centres of PHDFWF in Ayanagar, Mandi and Pochanpur resettlement areas. Special trainer from PSUWAC trained to the local beneficiaries for safety, security and self- protection . This will help women for self-defense with the training and techniques. More than 100 trainees have successfully completed this training and received the certificates.

PHDFWF PARTICIPATED IN THE MARATHON FOR ‘RUN FOR GIRL CHILD’ WITH 250 BENEFICIARIES AT JLN STADIUM, NEW DELHI

PHDFWF with support from Jaquar foundation participated in 3km run an event ‘Run for girl child’ organised on April 13, 2025 at JLN Stadium, New Delhi. Shri Shamsher Kanwar, GB member, PHDFWF, senior officials from Jaquar Foundation and 250 participants including secretariat, beneficiaries and trainer of skill centres took part in the run. PHDFWF also provided two mobile medical vans to offer free medical services with doctors & paramedical staff to all participants. The run was to raise awareness about the importance of educating and empowering the girl child. The event typically features a short-distance run that encourages participation from people of all age groups and backgrounds. It aimed to promote gender equality and support the cause of girl child development, especially in underprivileged communities.

HUNAR UNLIMITED PROGRAMME 2025

PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised its flagship programme ‘Hunar Unlimited 2025’ on Viksit Bharat on March 12, 2025. The theme of the programme was based on our prime minister’s vision for this year. Chief Guest of the programme was Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Renowned Classical Dancer. The inaugural lamp was lit by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Shri. Hemant Jain President, PHDCCI, Ms. Vidhi Mehra, Shri Shamsher Kanwar, Jaquar Foundation and Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF. Shri. Hemant Jain, President, PHDCCI appreciated the welfare activities done by the FWF and thanked Jaquar Foundation for their support to PHDFWF towards the upliftment of the society. Ms. Anuradha Goel in her welcome address briefed about the welfare work done by the PHDFWF. Ms. Goel thanked Jaquar Foundation towards supporting the programme and in addition to support 10 more new skill centres to be opened pan India in the coming financial year. Shri Shamsher kanwar, CSR Head in his speech inspired all the participants beneficiaries for their performance and continue to initiate more projects and programmes with PHDFWF. The participants from different skill development centers of PHDFWF showcased their talent through singing, dance, skit and other instrumental performances. An art competition was organised among the beneficiaries from the skill development units and winners were awarded on the basis of the judgement made by renowned artist Ms. Nupur Kundu. Quiz competition was also conducted at the beginning of the programme. Approx 300 attendees witnessed the mesmerising performance of beneficiaries.

CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME IN PHDFWF-JAQUAR KATWARIA SARAI SKILL CENTER

PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised a Certificate Distribution programme on March 5, 2025, at the PHDFWF-Jaquar Katwaria Sarai Skill Center. Ms Anuradha Goel welcomed attendees, highlighting welfare initiatives and encouraging self- reliance. Ms Goel also expressed gratitude to Shri Samsher Kanwar, CSR Head of Jaquar Foundation, for their support. 80 students received certificates for completing courses in Beauty Culture, Tailoring, Computer Education, and English Speaking. The event celebrated their achievements and the impact of collaboration, The programme was attended by GB members of PHDFWF and senior officials of PHDFWF.

10TH WOMEN ASTITVA SAMMAN AND 9TH JUNIOR ASTITVA SAMMAN 2025

PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised the *10th Women Astitva Samman and 9th Junior Astitva Samman 2025* on January 17, 2025 at the PHD House. *Smt. Savita Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of State, Women & Child Development, GOI was the Chief Guest and Lt Gen Vinod Khandare (retd.) PVMS. AVSM, SM, Principal Adviser (USC), Dept . of Defence, GOI was the Guest of Honour* of the programme. Hon’ble Smt. Savitri Thakur appreciated initiatives like Astitva Samman awards as it gives strength to organisations and school students and motivates individuals to do even better which will continue to progress towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat and a Viksit Bharat. The 10th Astitva Samman recognised the *National Handloom Development Corporation* under Government category for empowering women in the handloom sector, *Jaipur Rugs* under MSME category supporting over 40,000 artisans, 85% of whom are women, *The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group* under Corporate category for its commitment to women in leadership roles, the *Mobius Foundation* under NGO category for empowering over 9,000 girls and 25,000 women in rural India, and *Tinka Samajik Sanstha* under Special category (Sports) for its impactful work with 76,264 children and youth. In the 9th Junior Astitva Samman, students from *Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini’s* “Walk the Summit” initiative positively impacted over 110 students, raising ₹70,000 through crowdfunding. *Vasant Valley School* New Delhi was honoured for Project Vayu, an affordable air filter combating pollution. *Amity International School*, Saket students received awards for two innovative projects: Ecosteria, a solar-powered UV lamp promoting eco-friendly practices, and Medbot, an AI-driven healthcare assistant offering symptom analysis and medical advice. Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director of The Lalit Hotels, accepted the award on behalf of the company. Smt. Swayamprava Pani, Managing Director of NHDC, Mr. Arnab Roy, Sales GM of Jaipur Rugs, Ms. Pradeep Burman of Mobius Foundation, and Ms. Mana Mandlekar, Co- founder of Tinka Samajik Sanstha, were also present to receive their awards. Kali Centre for Legal Reforms & Research and DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. were the supporter of the programme. 300 audiences including former presidents of PHDCCI Shri Alok B Shriram, Shri Sanjay Bhatia, Shri Suman Jyoti Khaitan and Shri Gopal Jiwarajka were also present in the programme. ‘Astitva Darshan’ by Padmashri Guru Shovana, Narayan’s ‘ASAVARI Repertory’ enthralled the audiences.

'PHDFWF CRICKET LEAGUE'

The PHD Family Welfare Foundation organised ‘PHDFWF Cricket League’ on January 12, 2025 at the Wisteria Club in Baliawas, Gurugram supported by its GB members. A total of eight teams from the PHDFWF skill centres and secretariat had participated in this event for the first time. The aim of the league was to provide a platform to these beneficiaries to showcase their talent in cricket and also to building their confidence. The Mandi Skill Center was the winner of the tournament, while Mehrauli had secured the runner-up position. Shri Gopal Jiwarajika, former president of PHDCCI, Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDFWF along with governing body members Ms. Madhulika Mehta, Ms. Seema Khaitan, Ms. Neetu Jiwarajika, Ms. Priya Hingorani, Ms Nirmala Fenn, Ms Sharda Goyal and Ms. Veena Thapar presented trophies and certificates to the winning and participating teams. The tournament was witnessed by about 250 audience.
